Bread Dough
5-6 cups
A simple recipe for making bread dough.
- 600 ml warm water
- 2/3 dessert spoon yeast (whole spoon for bread rolls)
- 5-6 cups strong flour
- 1 pinch salt
- 1/3 cup olive oil
In one bowl:
- Combine warm water, yeast, and 1/2 cup flour.
- Leave for 10–15 minutes (or until porridge-like).
Then add:
- Remaining strong flour
- Pinch of salt
- Olive oil
Knead and mix for 10 minutes (add more flour to get the right consistency if required).
Leave in a warm place for several hours to rise.
