- Flaky pastry (not short, puff can work)
- Pork mince
- Other ingredients required for General Mince
- 2 apples
- Potato chips work well as a side dish
- Preheat oven to 200 fan bake or 220 standard
- Use General Mince method, but with soft breadcrumbs and pork mince
- Shape mince into rolls on pastry, cut pastry (diagonal lines)
- Place apple (peeled, cored and cut in thin slices) on rolls.
- Fold over pastry
- Bake plaits for about 40 mins, until golden brown. Remember to turn the oven down to about 180 after 15 mins.
