Scones
- 3 cups flour
- 4 ½ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- 50 g butter
- 1-1 ½ cups milk
Sift the dry ingredients, rub in the butter, add milk and mix quickly to a soft dough with a knife. Turn out onto a floured board, roll lightly till about 15mm thick, cut and place on a cold oven tray. Bake for 10-15 minutes at 230 degrees, till golden brown.
