Whoosh Pudding
4 to 6 servings
A delightful steamed pudding with a golden syrup base.
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp golden syrup
- 100 g flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 egg
- ½ cup cold water
Put molten butter and golden syrup at the bottom of the pudding dish. Sift the flour and baking powder into a bowl with the sugar. Break in the egg and add the water, stir until smooth. Pour the batter on top of the syrup. Double boil/steam for 20 minutes.
